It was another inspiring, God Honoring, Patriotic service this past Sunday, July 2nd. Flags lined the sidewalks and auditorium as attendees waved their own flags and sang along with an excellent cantata presented by the Celebration Choir. Along with the choir presentation, another highlight of the service was the Presentation of Colors by Cub Scout Pack 234 of Marco Island, organized by Eric Garwood. A crowd favorite of the service was the opportunity to honor all veteran’s in attendance as Pastor Steve led the Armed Forces Medley recognizing each branch of the military. Each veteran proudly marched front and center as they heard their song being sung. Between the two services we honored nearly 40 veterans as the audience stood to their feet and gave applause and cheers. In the second service we had three WWII veterans.
