These are troubling times, who knows what tomorrow is going to bring? But ya know, even in happy times, who knows what tomorrow is going to bring? Life is full of uncertainty, things happen, the earth quakes, volcanoes erupt, rivers overflow, tornadoes destroy! But as Jeremiah wrote, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is in the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the water … and will not fear when the heat comes.” Well, the heat is coming’! Are your roots firmly planted in the Lord? The Psalmist encourages, “Blessed be the man who fears the Lord, who delights in His commandments.” That fear is a Godly reverence that inspires us to be obedient to His Word and He will bless those that do. Yeah, it could get pretty rough, our Florida lay back lifestyle may take a big hit, but if you are firmly rooted in Him, you have nothing to fear.
