We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month from October through May at The Nursing Home located at 5175 Tamiami Trail E. Usually our activities start at 9:20 AM, in the main lobby and then we visit two separate units. We spent about 40 minutes with the general population and 30 minutes in the Alzheimer’s unit. Our group of volunteers enjoy to sing, socialize and love the nursery home residents. We bring every Thursday hymns and old familiar fun tunes that we combine with scripture readings, sometimes we have instrumentalists and even a good dance time. We are here to bring joy, sweet moments and the most important to share the love of our Savior Jesus with the residents.
